2012 Feb. 12 Sweets making event for Valentine’s day
Happy Valentine’s day!!!
We made chocolate cake with 16 Borderless residents!!
After we baked the cakes, decorated it cute, discussed how everyone spends their Valentine’s day back home AND! We trained how to receive and give Valentine’s day chocolate in Japanese way. Let’s do this again next year(^^)

2011′ BORDERLESS HOUSE X-mas party

I wish you a Merry Christmas!
BORDERLESS HOUSE had a Christmas Pary this year too:) There were 60 people from all different Borderless Houses. This time, we chose Irish pub at Koenji and it was very nice place everybody enojyed. I hope everyone had wonderful time with us. Thanks for everyone who came to the party.
A new year is kncking on the door. I wish everyone a happy new year!!!!!

2011′ Mt. Takao Hiking

Finally it’s sunny! It was our first time to climb Mt. Tako, so we were very excited! Although it was the easest course, it was pretty tough. But you know what? You will forget everything when you get to the summit. speechless. so beua-tiful! Mt. Tako is only 50 minutes away from cetral Tokyo. It’s the place if you want to enjoy the colors of autumn leaves with beuatiful nature. If you live in Tokyo, you must go.

2011′ BBQ Party

BBQ season has come! Clear sky with nice seabreeze makes perfect day for BBQ. Tenants gave their hands to built up tents, made a fire, and prepared food. Thanks for all! And, BBQ was so good! We also did Suika-wari which is breaking a watermelon with covering one’s eyes. We had lots fun. I think it is one of the best ways to enjoy summer. Can’t wait for next summer!

2011′ Glass Wind Chimes

Edo furin, wind chime, originated from China and began as far back as 1600. This time, we visited the place where we can experinece making Furin by ourselves. We did glass blowing too! Depends on this process, the sound of chime is different. The last step is to paint on it. It was really difficult to paint from inside, but everyone did good job. Handmaking is always fun. It was also good time to experience Japanese culture.
2011′ Zen Meditation

In Zen Buddhism, zazen is a meditative discipline practitioners perform to calm the body and the mind, and be able to concentrate enough to experience insight into the nature of existence and thereby gain enlightenment(reference from wikipedia). It was special experience to particiapate Zazen. Pretty hard to keep the posture for beginers, but good way to freshen up your mind.
