Hello! This is Borderless House!! Today we would like to share the review of our lovely tenant Rosanne, who joined the House Exchange Program in Taipei from 12/16 to 12/25. She came from the Borlderless House in Seoul, and stayed in ZHONGXIAO DUNHUA 1 for one week to explore Taiwanese culture!   Let's see what experiences she got during this stay ♥ :;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*゚:;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*゚:;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*゚:;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*゚:;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*゚:;;::;;:*:;;::;;:*   Rosanne van der Leer (She comes from the Netherlands!)   Q1. Why did you apply for the house exchange program? Rosanne: I am currently doing an internship in Seoul and I had some free days, so I decided to apply for the house exchange program to visit Taipei. I want to spend my holidays in Taipei to escape the Korean winter for a week , do some sightseeing and experience different Asian culture. Because I was by myself, I applied for this program since it is nice to meet people who are already living in Taipei and who could give me some tips ;)   Q2. How was your exchange? Rosanne: Very Good! All the housemates were really nice and welcoming. I learned a lot about the Taiwanese culture and tried lots of different food from vendors on the street. I love night market and the people were really nice. The house exchange program itself was really well organized and the staff was very professional.   Q3. What is the most memorable episode? Rosanne: When I arrived I was immediately invited to the Borderless Christmas dinner. This was very last minute but the Borderless House Taipei staff was very kind to let me participate. It was a nice way to get into the Christmas spirit as well as to meet new people from different nationalities, plus I even scored a Christmas present ;) Furthermore, I found the housemates to be very kind and welcoming, they took me to the night market and let me try stinky tofu! .   Q4. Do you have any comments? Rosanne: It is a fun way to see new places and meet new people, especially when you are by yourself. The staff organized everything very well and I had a blast.   Q5. Do you have any opinions for improving this program? Rosanne: Keep up the good work! Everything was very well organized. The only thing I was struggling with was that when I arrived I didn't know how to reach the Borderless staff member, since I didn't know you were using the Line messenger application. If you would have emailed me that in advance, I could have sent a message when arriving at the airport to inform you I was running late.   Here are the great pictures taken by her! ➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤ (National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall)   (The view of Taipei city from Elephant mountain)   (The scene of streets)   ➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤ Rosanne told us that her favorite food in night market is roasted potatoes rather than stinky tofu , but she did has the courage to try new things! (lol) She also considered Taiwanese people very enthusiastic to talk to foreigners. In fact, we were also touched by her lively sharing :)   Free House Exchange program can provide more opportunities for our tenants to meet and stay with local people in the country and have a real cultural experience!! Since our houses are in Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, you can stay one of our houses for FREE!!   ✫ If you are interested in our program, please don’t feel hesitate to join the program! http://www.borderless-house.com/houseexchange/houseexchange_form/ ✫ You can check the details of this program on our website blow. http://www.borderless-house.com/houseexchange/
