Living with native speakers was crucial in developing my Japanese speaking ability. At first, it was not be easy to make friends with locals, so a sharehouse is a great opportunity to meet Japanese people in a casual environment. In particular, I was very lucky to get into Kikukawa2. The people here, both Japanese and foreigners, were the most amazing and kind people I've ever met.
I really enjoied staying in Kikukawa2. It was like a family. And we have nice parties with other Kikukawa share house.
